And here we all are at the end of another great season. We’re closing our villas for the winter with great happiness and a huge desire to see you again in the 2019 season. But before that, we’d like to remember this wonderful summer with you with a round-up of all the tips, places, restaurants, activities and more that we recommended on our blog throughout the season. At the start of the year, we gave you the keys to enjoying springtime in Ibiza, one of the most beautiful seasons on the island. And which coincides with the opening of our villas at the end of April. One of the things that tourists and residents like to do the most at this time of the year is to stroll along the beaches, where you can already notice the warmer temperatures and even dare to take the first dip of the year in the sea. There are also many events on the island that focus on culture and fun times, such as the medieval fair, which is held within the walls of Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town.
There’s also room for music with the “Sueños de Libertad” music festival, which each year attracts international artists for three days of music, art and entertainment in a fun and laid-back atmosphere.
This summer we talked about food; quite a lot in fact! We know that you love hearing about the best places to go or our favourite haunts. In July, we recommended “Five restaurants to enjoy Thai cuisine in Ibiza” located across the island to savour this increasingly popular cuisine found here. But let’s not forget about Mediterranean cuisine with Ibizan roots, which is why we continued with Part 2 of “Delicious restaurants in Ibiza by the sea” We talked about some of the island’s most famous and coolest restaurants with sea views, such as Tropicana Ibiza Cala Jondal or Jockey Club Ibiza. But we also recommended some outstanding places to try the very best traditional Ibizan cuisine, such as Ses Boques in Es Cubells.
Leaving gastronomy aside and to keep the little ones interested, we prepared a list of “10 super plans to enjoy with kids in Ibiza” where we mentioned everything from water sports, open-air cinema, a visit to the aquarium and a trip to our neighbouring island, Formentera. They’ll have loved it!
