Residencial Bogamarí is a set of eight independent Ibiza style villas built around a beautiful garden and a large pool. Located in the municipality of Sant Josep, near the Bay of Sant Antoni, it’s close to the sea and at only a few kilometers there are some of the best beaches on the island. Today we recommend the top five beaches near Residential Bogamarí that you can’t miss.
The closest is Port des Torrent. A beach cove with fine sand and clean waters at the mouth of a stream. A beach with the shape of a bay, once a refuge for fishermen in the area as the bay is well sheltered and has fisherman’s huts. It has a family atmosphere, with beach bars and restaurants, sunbeds and, in general, tends to be quite busy.
Cala Bassa
A few minutes from the hotel is the beach of Cala Bassa. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in the south coast of Ibiza. Pristine, no constructions around it, and the water is blue and transparent, an authentic natural pool. The landscape is beautiful with lush vegetation, pine and juniper forest around it and it’s overlooking the coast of Sant Antoni. A beach with all the services: from sunbeds and beach bars to the latest fashion, the “Cala Bassa Beach Club” recently created, full fancy restaurant service for the wealthy. Platges de Comte (Cala Conta)
Another jewel of the south of the island is Platges Comte, popularly known as Cala Conta beach. And right in front there’s the stunning island of “s’Illa des Bosc”. It has turquoise clear waters and fine sand. A very cosmopolitan atmosphere with a wild nature environment look. This set of three coves is characterized by the incredible sunsets you can enjoy from any of the beach bars and restaurants there, but can also be enjoyed simply from the sand. The beach has sunbeds and umbrellas rental service. The smallest of the three coves is Es Recó d’en Xic, ideal for those looking for total quiet and peaceful spot.
Going south along the coast you’ll find the beach of Cala Tarida, at 5 kilometers from Bogamarí. With white sand and clean waters, it’s less pristine than the previous two, as it has many hotels and restaurants where you can enjoy a really good seafood cuisine. You’ll also find a diving center and boat and jet ski rentals.
Nearby, a bit more south you’ll find the beautiful and very family friendly beach of Cala Vedella. White sand and clean emerald colored waters, a marine atmosphere and and numerous tourist services. You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, but there is also ideal shade spots under the juniper trees. There are also good restaurants serving excellent paellas and fresh fish dishes and even an authentic Italian restaurant where you can have delicious homemade pizzas. There’s also a diving center and watersports equipment rental.
